The Noona Chronicles

We would always hear the phrase,  daming ganap!  And for this year, this was so true for our beloved Hallyu industry. Not just in KDrama but in the KPop world as well. Here is my list of events  na nagpaiyak sakin ngayong taon.. 1. Song Song Couple Divorce They met and fell in love in the set of their hit drama  Descendants of the Sun.  And  grabe ang chemistry!  Looking at them and you'd definitely say, "they are meant to be together". We were so in love with the couple, and so happy that they are happy, or so we thought. Sino ang hindi nagulantang sa balita  that they are getting a divorce 20 months after that very wonderful wedding?! Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun Divorce Another divorce news a few months after the SongSong couple. They were married since May 2016. And  akala natin,  at least  sila  going strong  pa rin.  We were so wrong

Oh wow! My live broadcast with Fabienne Paderes ,  BLOGGING & FANGIRLING WITH NOONA, just ended. And it was fun! We talked about Noona Chronicles. We talked about Chingu to the World. We talked about blogging. We talked about how I can manage a page given I also manage my family and my work. We talked about my favorite KDrama stars. We talked about the followers. We talked about so many things. And I loved every minute of the 59 minutes we're talking. Oh there were technical difficulties but we managed. Thank you guys. Another big win for the movie Parasite ! Parasite won four big awards as announced by the Chicago Film Critics Association or CFCA. The movie won Best Picture, Best Director   for Bong Joon Ho, Best Original Screenplay  and Best Foreign Language Film. Just recently the film was also awarded Best Picture by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. Aside from that, it also got the Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Song Kang Ho). Did you know that Parasite is also the first ever Korean film to win the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival? Also, it is the first ever Korean film to be nominated for three Golden Globe Awards. It is nominated for Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Foreign Language Film. And it's also a strong contender for the Oscar Awards Best Foreign Language Film category. So I heard. I had a problem with my blog. Facebook decided to block it without me knowing why. But, like any other, I decided to do something about it. Kaya eto, gumawa ako ng bagong blog. And hoping it won't happen again. To those who follow Noona Chronicles, thank you. And I hope you continue supporting me and my fangirling ways.
