 The tvN drama Alchemy of Souls has just ended its first part. And viewers are still processing the rumors that Jung So Min, the female lead, will not appear in part 2. Now, it's just been confirmed.  Another tragic news as an actress took her own life. Actress Yoo Ju Eun, died at the age of only 27. On August 29, the actress' older brother took to Instagram to share her last words. On the caption, he wrote that Yoo Ju Eun passed away on the 29th and the funeral will take place on August 31. While Jeon So Min was fantastic as the main character, Mu Deok, in the first season, it was reported that Go Yoon Jung would take over in the second season.  The tvN drama, Alchemy of Souls and MBC's Big Mouth both dipped in ratings on their latest broadcast. Although it has been a trend lately, where Saturday ratings sees drop in ratings, both dramas suffered the same fate.  In fact, the dramas' previous episodes gave them the highest ratings of their run, Alchemy of Souls at 9.3%, almost reaching double digit ratings; while Big Mouth at 11.5%. However, their latest episode saw a more than 1% decrease. The Lee Jae Wook Jung So Min drama dropped to 7.9% while the Lee Jong Suk Yoona drama went down to 10%.
