Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun In Talks to Star in New Drama

Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook are in talks to lead a new drama.


The drama, Welcome to Samdal-ri, will be helmed by When the Camella Blooms director and Hi Bye Mama writer. It is scheduled to air within the year.

The healing romance tells the story of a protagonist who looked like a dragon ascending to heaven in the eyes of others, but one day loses everything and falls. Shin Hye Sun plays Samdal, who returns to her hometown after breaking up with her boyfriend.

When The Phone Rings Production Team Apologizes for Controversial Scene

 The production team of ''When the Phone Rings' has apologized for a sign language scene from the first episode. In the first episode, aired on November 22, sign language interpreter Hong Hee Joo (played by Chae Soo Bin) is interpreting for a news program. Because of a transmission error during the live broadcast, the program suddenly freezes on Hong Hee Joo signing the word for “mountain,” but was mistakenly interpreted as an obscene hand gesture.
