On September 19, Park shared a statement on social media addressing the controversy, citing "Gukjo Oryeui," known as "The Book of National Rites of the Early Joseon Dynasty," which is the official state manual of court rituals, compiled in 1474, as the basis for the drama’s depiction. First, Park explained the decision to seat Lee Heon alongside the Ming Dynasty envoy. He said, "The section on guest etiquette in the text specifies that the envoy sits to the east, while the king sits to the west." He added, "In Confucian ritual, the east holds a higher rank than the west. The Ming envoy represented the emperor, so his status was above that of the Joseon king."  Jung Jun Won’s agency has denied the rumors that Resident Playbook's Jung Jun Won and model-turned-actress Kang Seung Hyun are dating. On May 27, Jung Joon Won’s agency says,  “The dating rumors involving Kang Seung Hyun are not true. They became acquainted while filming the movie ‘Believer’ and are simply close friends.” Earlier today, speculation surfaced on online communities saying that Jung Jun Won and Kang Seung Hyun have been dating for three years already. Alleged evidence included the pair being photographed at the same locations and seen wearing matching hats and T-shirts. Jung Jun Won and Kang Seung Hyun previously appeared in “Believer” and its sequel “Believer 2.”

 After the press conference by Kim Sae Ron's family, Kim Soo Hyun's agency has responded. During the press conference, HoverLab said that they obtained an audio recording with the late Kim Sae Ron. But, this audio file is entirely fabricated. GOLDMEDALIST has determined that it was created using AI or similar technology. The individual who provided this audio file to HoverLab is a fraudster who also approached GOLDMEDALIST, saying that they possess a recording where Kim Sae Ron made statements in favor of Kim Soo Hyun. They demanded money from GOLDMEDALIST and sent a part of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the late actress' voice. GOLDMEDALIST did not comply with any of the provider’s demands.
