Kim Sae Ron's Husband Responds to Allegations of Abuse

On March 25, YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute released a video titled “[Shocking Exclusive] Kim Sae-ron’s Husband’s Statement Revealed (Suspicious Ex-Boyfriend)”. 

The video released by Garo Sero included a series of text messages exchanged between Kim Sae-ron’s husband, who currently resides in New York, and a man identified as her ex-boyfriend. In the messages, the husband refuted the ex-boyfriend’s claims, denying

“If my wife had an ex persistently approaching her, I’d curse him out too."

Earlier that day, the ex-boyfriend released a statement saying that Kim Sae Ron did not die because of Kim Soo Hyun but instead blames her husband for what happened. 

In reaction to this, Garo Sero openly challenged the validity and logic of Mr. A’s argument, stating, 

“So, she self-harmed while visiting her husband in New York—how does that make it the husband’s fault instead of Kim Soo hyun’s? That doesn’t even make sense as a causal connection.”

Garo Sero even revealed the ex-boyfriend's details.

The YouTube channel also interviewed a friend of the actress. Her friend expressed concern over what the ex-boyfriend has revealed.

"“The family is suffering because of Mr. A’s testimony. I wanted to clarify that the claims about her family being neglectful are not true.”

“I stayed at Sae-ron’s house often whenever I didn’t have a packed schedule,” 

Also, she mentioned that her parents had not taken control of all her earnings, she stated, 

“If that were true, they would be wealthy, but that wasn’t the case. I never felt they were financially well-off.”

The close friend also has this to say about the ex-boyfriend,

“He’s not a terrible person. Seeing that he even wrote a statement, I wonder if he’s being threatened by the other side.” 

However, she remained doubtful about the more extreme allegations, particularly those related to marriage and abortion. She stated,

“When Sae-ron was working part-time, people would insult her openly. She’d pretend not to care but later said it made her feel awful. That’s why she wanted to escape Korea. Marriage may have been possible, but I don’t think abortion was.”

The friend also disclosed that during a period when Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun were out of touch, Sae-ron tried to deliver a letter to his residence. However, building security prevented her from doing so.

Garo Sero has unveiled Kim Sae-ron’s official marriage certificate, issued by the New Jersey Department of Health, confirming that the actress was legally married in the U.S. However, the man listed as her husband has come forward to deny several serious accusations.

In the end, the husband denied all allegations saying,

"In the U.S., domestic violence is a serious crime.” 

On the pregnancy,

“Talks of pregnancy supposedly began in January 2025, but we first met in mid-November 2024. Our relationship only became serious when Sae-ron visited the U.S. in late November, so the timeline simply doesn’t add up.”
