South Korea Pledges To Help Victims of Taal Volcano Eruption

Thank you to South Korea for pledging 200,000 dollars to victims of the Taal volcano eruption. This is through the Philippine Red Cross, according to Seoul's Foreign Ministry on January 16.

The ministry said that through this, they hope that this would be able to help in the stabilization of the victims' lives.

Taal Volcano erupted on Sunday, January 12 and started emitting clouds of ash and hot lava. Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate and find other shelter. The last reported eruption of the said volcano was in 1977.
