Hospital Playlist Season 3, When Will It Happen?

 With only 1 episode left on Hospital Playlist season 2, expectations for season 3 is already happening.  And though we want to have it soon after season 2 ends, it seems that that will be difficult.

Hospital Playlist started with a 10% audience rating with its first episode. But it recently broke the 13% viewership rating proving its popularity. The confessions from Song Hwa and Seok Hyeong which changed their relationship status made fans ecstatic. 

With this, viewers are clamoring for another season to be made. However, under the current situation, the production of the third season is still unclear. Shin Won Ho PD said,

There were many advantages to filming a season-based drama, but there were also disadvantages that I did not expect. I originally planned 3 seasons for 3 years but I don't want to tie them up for next season.

He told the actors to schedule their time comfortably after season 2. This is mainly because production schedule for season 2 has been delayed a lot due to Covid 19. 

It's also predicted that the season 3 production will be difficult for the time being because most of the lead cast have another project for next year.  Jo Jung Suk is confirmed to star in the movie The Land of Happiness; Jeon Mi Do is one of the leads of the drama Thirty Nine; Shin Hyun Been is confirmed to star in Chaebol's Youngest Son and Strange; while Yoo Yeon Seok will star in Netflix Suriname.

But as previously stated, the director has discussed three seasons with the actors. Although specific time cannot be discussed yet, this just means we need to wait longer for season 3. With all the countless stories that need to continue from this season. Min Ha and Seok Hyeong and Song Hwa and Ik Jun's romance stories are just beginning; Jun Hwan and Ik Sung's relationship that needs to be settled. Shin Won Ho PD said that he cannot put all of these in the last episode.

It may take more time, but we just have to wait.
