Jirisan Sets New Record for a Weekend tvN Drama

 Jirisan starring Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon has made tvN history with its first episode!

On its premier episode on October 23, the highly anticipated drama premiered to Number 1 in rating. According to Nielsen Korea, it scored an average nationwide rating of 9.1%, giving it a first place slot across all channels including public broadcast networks.

Jirisan set a new record as the highest premier rating of any weekend drama in TvN's history. Previous record was held by Mr Sunshine at 8.9%. Furthermore, the drama achieved the second highest viewership rating of any drama premier. Hospital Playlist holds the highest place at 10%.

The drama also took first place in its time slot among the 20-49 key demographic with a score of 5.4%
