Yoo Ah In Recalls Winning Best Couple Award with Song Joong Ki

 It was in the drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal when Yoo Ah In won Best Couple Award. Not with a female, but with co-star, Song Joong Ki. The actor mentioned this in his recent interview for The Swoon, Up Close and Personal with Yoo Ah In. 


It was in 2010 when the two actors won the award. Song Joong Ki even commented in an interview that it felt good but it also felt weird to receive that award. 

Their relationship in the drama was not actually romantic, but their strong bromance was recognized by fans and viewers of the drama. They outshined the male-female nominees for the 2010 KBS Drama Awards and eventually won.


In his latest interview for The Swoon, he mentioned this in the segment where he has to say the first word that comes to mind for each project and why. For Sungkyunkwan Scandal, the first word he thought of was Geolrim Couple (he was called Geol in the drama); and how people were pairing him and Joong Ki together.

It's good to see how Yoo Ah In still recalls his best friend's ex-husband in interviews like this.

On January 15, Dispatch revealed that the actress received money from her ex-boyfriend, Kang Jong Hyun, during their relationship.
