Actor Jang Ki Yong to Make a Comeback Through Army Musical

 Actor Jang Kiyong has confirmed to join the army musical "A Song of Meissa" on March 2022.


On December 21 last year, the Army announced the participation of army soldiers to appear in the musical A Song of Meissa, and Jang Ki Yong passed that audition. 
The musical is set in war-torn Kamur, a fictional country, and Korea. It tells the story of a boy from Kamur who sets out to Korea to audition for a KPop group and to find Meissa, who gave him hopes as a child. He sees how different the countries are, with Korea building peace and culture, not guns and wars; and also shows how people of varying cultures can become one through art.


According to reports, the musical was partially modified to fit the newly selected military officers.
