Why Did Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin Decide To Wed In March?

 On February 10, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin suddenly announced that they are getting married.

The two have been dating since January 2021, but industry officials were surprised at the sudden announcement. Also, since Son Ye Jin's Thirty Nine is coming out, there are speculations about the timing of the announcent.

An official said, 

Both of them have been seriously considering marriage for a long time. They both have passion for work and they keep getting good offers. But they seem to have decided they can't postpone because of their age. 

The rumors of them getting married was fueled when Hyun Bin bought a luxurious penthouse  worth 5 billion won last year. But the agency denied the marriage rumors.

Both actors seem to be having a hard time with their filming schedules because of the Covid19. Hyun Bin's schedule for Jordan to film has been postponed and the first half of last year was spent filming. Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin was busy filming Thirty Nine on the second half on 2021.

Since they are very successful with their careers, it was difficult to find time. So considering the schedule of their next projects, March was just right. 

Someone in the industry who knows binjin well said the families of the couple was the drive for the marriage. Saying that they were both getting old so they were urged to pick a date and stop delaying it lol.

That's why they chose March since it was the most free schedule for them
