Congratulations Song Kang Ho, the First Korean Male to Win an Acting Award at the Cannes Film Festival

Congratulations to Song Kang Ho. Best Actor at the 75th Cannes Film Festival for Broker.

Song Kang Ho is the first Korean male to win an acting award at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for his role in Broker.

Coincidentally, the first female Korean to win an acting award was Jeon Do Yeon for the movie Secret Sunshine where Song Kang Ho also starred in.

Notably, Song Kang Ho was also in Parasite, the first Korean film to win the prestigious
Palme d’Or—the Cannes Film Festival’s top prize in 2019.

In addition, he also made history at last year's Cannes when he became the first Korean to serve on the jury at the 74th Cannes Film Festival.

Wow to Song Kang Ho for all these achievements!
