Park Min Young's Agency Hook Entertainment Has Been Raided by Police

Agents from the National Police Agency has raided Hook Entertainment's Cheongdam offices, according to reports on November 10.


Hook Entertainment is home to Park Min Young and other stars like Lee Seung Gi, Lee Sun Hee, Lee Seo Jin and Yoon You Jung. 

According to reports. The Hook Entertainment office building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was searched and seized by the Serious Crime Investigation Division of the National Police Agency starting at noon on November 10 which lasted for five hours.

It is quite uncommon for the authorities to search and seize property from an entertainment agency and the reason for the raid is still not known.


According to an SBS report, 
Recently three companies with ties to Kang Jong Hyun were raided. However, according to entertainment insiders, the raid at Hook Entertainment had nothing to do with him but instead was due to internal management issues.

In a previous Dispatch report, it was said that Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend, kang Jong Hyun, had connections with various businesses, including Hook Entertainment.

On October 27, the Chief Prosecutor issued an injunction prohibiting Kang Jong Hyun from leaving the country, citing him as a potential witness in a Bithumb-related suspected embezzlement case. One of Korea's biggest bitcoin exchanges, Bithumb, has previously been linked to Kang Jong Hyun.

Also, Kang Jong Hyun said he has decided to separate with the Love in Contract actress because he does not want her career to be ruined.
