On April 28, the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards awarded its highest award or the Daesang to Park Eun Bin for her portrayal of the character of Woo Young Woo.

When her name was called to the stage as the winner, she has started getting emotional as she was not expecting to win.

Read below for her emotional speech filled with gratitude.
Thank you so much, I feel like I am receiving this prize on behalf of the entire 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' team.

Countless works have been produced over the course of the year, with numerous talented individuals dedicating themselves to their craft. As for myself, I believe that it was the unwavering support of those who have come to love the character of 'Woo Young Woo' that led to my receiving this award. I express my sincere gratitude to all those who have watched and supported the show. The overwhelming love and attention that 'Woo Young Woo' has received has surpassed all expectations. In truth, I would not be standing here today without everyone's love.

I never expected this moment to arrive. When I was younger, I held onto my dream of becoming an actor, hoping that someday I would grow into an adult who could achieve the ultimate prize, the Daesang. Today, I am deeply grateful to have made that dream a reality. It is my hope that 'Young Woo' has served as a means to better comprehend the autism spectrum, even if only in a small way. Your interest and encouraging words have been invaluable to me, and I hope that this show has been just as helpful to you. I did not aspire to change the world through my work, but rather to foster a kinder heart within everyone and to encourage people to appreciate each other's unique traits, thereby promoting diversity. Thank you for taking notice of this effort and supporting it.

It took a considerable amount of time for me to muster the courage to portray 'Woo Young Woo' on screen. As an actor, I was deeply concerned about the impact that my portrayal of the character could have on the audience. I was afraid that my interpretation of 'Woo Young Woo' might offend or hurt someone. Throughout the process, I made a conscious effort to examine my own biases and prejudices towards individuals with autism and lawyers. Overcoming the challenges and setbacks I faced while working on this project was a truly enriching experience. It was a great relief to complete the work and to have learned so much about myself and the world around me along the way.

Throughout every episode, we were joined by a multitude of individuals who lent their unwavering support to 'Young Woo' and his journey. From the dedicated staff to my beloved co-stars, I am certain that none of the success we enjoy today would have been possible without everyone's combined efforts. One of my favorite lines from the show is 'My life may be strange and eccentric, but it is still valuable and beautiful.' I am grateful to have had the opportunity to share this message through 'Young-woo's' story. Through this character, I have learned to appreciate the unique and unconventional aspects of life that may be familiar to some but entirely foreign to others. I will always hold 'Young-woo's' footsteps close to my heart.

Such a wonderful speech from someone deserving of the award. Congratulations Park Eun Bin!
