King The Land is Now JTBC's 7th Highest Rated Drama Of All Time

 Congratulations to King The Land!

The drama's 8th episode, aired on July 9, earned it a rating of 12.3% according to Nielsen Korea. 

Since it's 1st episode, the drama's ratings have continuously increased as it started with 5.075% until it reached double digit on its 6th episode. 

This rating has given the Junho-Yoona starrer the 7th spot on JTBC's highest rated series of all time. It has bumped off The Lady in Dignity to number 8 (12.065%) and now comes after Agency with 16.044%.

The 8th episode had fans anticipating for that kiss which finally happened in the end of the episode. And what a kiss it was! 

Meanwhile the lead stars of the drama Yoona and Junho have been embroiled in a dating controversy lately but was immediately denied by both parties.

IU Gave a Funny Answer When She Was Asked About Lee Jong Suk's Reaction to her Newest Drama

 IU is currently enjoying the success of her hit drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines.  Read my review of When Life Gives You Tangerines In an interview on April 2, 2025, at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Grand Ballroom, IU was asked about her boyfriend, Lee Jong Suk’s, thoughts on her hit drama. With a playful tone, IU responded,  He's really busy. So, I don't think he's had a chance to see it yet. At least, that's what I assume since I know he's been very busy. She also jokingly added, When Life Gives You Tangerines promotions end today, so right now, my world revolves around Gwan-sik. I only know Yang Gwan-sik. Gold Medalist Answers Back Claims During Kim Sae Ron's Family's Press Conference

 After the press conference by Kim Sae Ron's family, Kim Soo Hyun's agency has responded. During the press conference, HoverLab said that they obtained an audio recording with the late Kim Sae Ron. But, this audio file is entirely fabricated. GOLDMEDALIST has determined that it was created using AI or similar technology. The individual who provided this audio file to HoverLab is a fraudster who also approached GOLDMEDALIST, saying that they possess a recording where Kim Sae Ron made statements in favor of Kim Soo Hyun. They demanded money from GOLDMEDALIST and sent a part of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the late actress' voice. GOLDMEDALIST did not comply with any of the provider’s demands. According to GOLDMEDALIST, the audio file provider could not have possibly had any contact with the late Kim Sae Ron.
