King the Land Ratings Decline as Viewers Complain of Outdated Storyline

 King the Land's latest episode declined for it's latest episode.

Starting with the 11th episode, the drama had seen a significant decrease in ratings, achieving 9.003% compared to its highest rating of 12.317% for episode 8 and 11.303% for episode 10. Could this mean that viewers are losing interest?

There were some disappointments from fans with the dramas seemingly slow storyline and quite inundated plot. Various reactions from social media suggest that the storyline has become stagnant since the leads confirmed their feelings for each other.

There were even some comments labeling the drama as 'Kiss The Land' saying that there's no more to the story but the love scenes.

"I am personally so disappointed with King The Land. I was really anticipating a special storyline because they announced YoonA and Junho as the leads since last year, but it turned out to be just the same old style as 'Boys Over Flowers'...The storyline is too embarrassing and predictable...This is why I'm losing interest in the drama"

It's slow, and it drags...They just keep replaying songs while overemphasizing the romantic love line...even the music is too distracting because you can tell that they are trying too hard...

A prince charming story from the 70s

It's too unrealistic and it's just your classic princess and prince charming story...I know it's only a drama but...only the two of them are jolly lol

They are even criticizing the drama as 'King The Land' = 'Kiss (The) Land' and the drama has nothing else to show...They think that including love scene is all it takes to create a drama 
It's more fun to watch the reruns of 'The Red Sleeve'"

I've been re-watching The Red Sleeve for over 2 years now but I can't re-watch an episode of King The Land...I'm already tired out by seeing the kiss scene edits on Instagram

The drama's latest rating for it's episode 12 is at 10.977%, a significant rise from episode 11.
