The episode was aired in Channel A's reality show 'My Golden Kids,' which revolves around parents seeking counseling and has gained widespread attention as Episode 169 went viral.

The viral clip has outraged parents all over the world thinking why the child does not feel loved at all.

But if you watch the whole episode, there was a resolution, the parents haven't realized how their actions affected their son's feelings. But now, the mom had made more time for Ji Eun, and they had a heart-to heart talk as well.

 The production team of ''When the Phone Rings' has apologized for a sign language scene from the first episode. In the first episode, aired on November 22, sign language interpreter Hong Hee Joo (played by Chae Soo Bin) is interpreting for a news program. Because of a transmission error during the live broadcast, the program suddenly freezes on Hong Hee Joo signing the word for “mountain,” but was mistakenly interpreted as an obscene hand gesture.
