Melai Cantiveros-Francisco Wins Big at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards

 A big congratulations to our very own, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco for her wins at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards held last night at the Philippine Arena.


And I don't mean just her Best Actor Award.

First, that interview with Jang Won Young was so funny and even got the attention of Korean actor Kim Seon Ho. 

Before walking towards the comedian, the host has already talked to Kim Seon Ho, Lee Jun Ho, Suho and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi. The host then asked Melai,
How do you feel about attending the AAA?

She then stood up and greeted the audience in Korean and Japanese. She said  "annyeonghaseyo" and "arigato gozaimasu". After this, she just brought down the house with her wit.

I feel like I am the first honor, a valedictorian in attending an AAA. So the best, prestigious award. I cannot believe this happening!

The host then asked if there is any particular celebrity she wants to meet. Here, she did not miss the chance to say how happy she is to be seated very near Kim Seon Ho.

Magandang buhay, maayong hapon na mga taga-Gen San, Pilipinas! Uhm, I want, I'm so very idol, Kim Seon Ho!

With her signature funny face, she showed her "kilig" over the opportunity of meeting the Hometown Cha Cha Cha star. 

As if meeting your favorite celebrity is not enough, she even won a Best Actor trophy! 

And this is where we see how very effortlessly she can make anyone laugh.

Congratulations Melai! With this award and the chance to see your favorite Korean celebrities, you truly are a winner!
