Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun's Exhuma Becomes Korea's Biggest Box Office Opening for 2024

On February 26, the Korean Film Council announced that “Exhuma” had officially surpassed 2 million moviegoers on February 25. This means that it took the film reached that milestonein just 4 days! On February 26, 7AM, the hit film already had a total of 2,299,706 moviegoers after topping the box office for four days straight.

Aside from achieving the biggest Korean box office opening of 2024 so far, it also recorded nearly 2 million moviegoers (1,963,564) in just one weekend, from February 23 to 25.

The film exceeded 1 million and 2 million viewers in the shortest possible time. It also attracted 770,925 people on Feb 24 and 818,130 people on Feb 25, the highest daily attendance this year.

Exhuma is an occult mystery film which centers around two exorcists (Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun), a mortician (Yoo Hae Jin), and a feng shui master (Choi Min Sik), who relocate mysterious graves in exchange for huge amounts of money.
