Why Jung Sumin is the Most Hated KDrama Character Right Now

So many KDrama viewers are into Marry My Husband right now. And not just because of the main characters, also because of the so-called main villain in the story.

Jung Sumin is Kang Jiwon's bestie in the drama. Friends since they were young, you would think she's the best thing Jiwon has in her life. But no.

KDrama best friends are usually the support main leads have, they are there to give the character what they need in any circumstance. And Sumin was that, in a way. But behind it all, is someone with bad intentions.

First off, she was the other woman. That woman who stole her best friend's man. That in itself is something to be mad about.

If only it stops there. But no. Her schemes to ruin Kang Jiwon from the start was something else. She just posed as the bestie, her other half as they call each other, but she was taking everything from her, ruining her life in the process.

She even copied Jiwon's handwriting to turn off Baek Eun Ho, her suitor. And then did it again to give her a bad reputation at work when she and Minhwan messed up.

What I really hate is her gaslighting. Pretending to be the best friend, the only one by her side, her confidante and ally. But behind her back, she was being the opposite.

Just because she's beautiful, she uses this as a weapon to get what she wants. And everything she does, it seems like it's to ruin Jiwon at all costs. What gives?!

Now, she got everything she wanted. She won, she said. And she keeps convincing herself that. But even after stealing Minhwan, I'm sure there's a more evil plan schemed we're not aware of yet.

But you know, she'll never be Jiwon. So, she will never win. Ever.

Because in the end, she'll always just be Sumin. Not Jiwon. That's the best revenge there is.

By the way, Song Ha Yoon, who portrays Sumin, was so adorable in Fight For My Way. Now, as Sumin, she's a completely different character! And I love hating her character so much. She's an effective actress. Can't wait for what she plans to do next to spite us and Jiwon.
