Yoo Ah In Sentenced to One Year in Prison

 Actor Yoo Ah In has been arrested after being found guilty for drug use, according to Yonhap News.

The actor was accused of using iklegal drugs on 181 occasions between September 2020 and March 2022 under the guise of cosmetic surgery anaesthesia.
He was also accused of illegally obtaining 1,100 sleeping pills under another person's name from May 2021 to August 2022. He was immediately taken into custody.

On September 3, the Seoul Central Dustrict Court's 25th Criminal Division sentenced Yoo to 1 year prison, 80-hour drug rehabilitation program and a fine of 2 million won for violating the Narcotics Control Act.

The prosecution requested for a 4-year prison sentence, the court gave a 1-year  sentence instead.

Meanwhile, a co-defendant, identified as Choi, received an 8-month prison sentence, suspended for two years. He was charged with smoking marijuana alongside the actor.
