 For December, When the Phone Rings will not air for 2 nights.

According to a SPOTV News on the 28th, MBC's Friday-Saturday 'When the Phone Rings' has decided to cancel two episodes, on December 14 and 20.


The cancellation was decided due to the continuing development of the series and will provide a short break.

Instead, a documentary on Han Kang will be aired on December 14. Han is the 1st Korean to win a Nobel Prize in Literature. While on the 20th, a recap of the first 7 episodes will be aired.

 After the press conference by Kim Sae Ron's family, Kim Soo Hyun's agency has responded. During the press conference, HoverLab said that they obtained an audio recording with the late Kim Sae Ron. But, this audio file is entirely fabricated. GOLDMEDALIST has determined that it was created using AI or similar technology. The individual who provided this audio file to HoverLab is a fraudster who also approached GOLDMEDALIST, saying that they possess a recording where Kim Sae Ron made statements in favor of Kim Soo Hyun. They demanded money from GOLDMEDALIST and sent a part of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the late actress' voice. GOLDMEDALIST did not comply with any of the provider’s demands.
