The Tale of Lady Ok is JTBC's 8th Highest Rated Drama of All Time

 Congratulations, The Tale of Lady Ok!


The last episode of The Tale of Lady Ok was aired last night, January 26 and it gave the drama's highest rating. It got an average nationwide rating of 13.575% for its finale.

With this, it entered the Top 10 JTBC's highest rated dramas of all time getting the 8th spot, taking over Welcome to Samdalri which moved to 9th place.

Interestingly enough, this change took out The Good Bad Mother in the top 10 and has moved to the 11th spot. This drama is of course led by Lim Ji Yeon's boyfriend, Lee Do Hyun.

 On May 7, Kim Sae Ron's family held another press conference with regards to Kim Soo Hyun. They were with with their legal representative Bu Ji Seok and HoverLab Inc. head, Kim Se Eui. IU Gave a Funny Answer When She Was Asked About Lee Jong Suk's Reaction to her Newest Drama

 IU is currently enjoying the success of her hit drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines.  Read my review of When Life Gives You Tangerines In an interview on April 2, 2025, at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Grand Ballroom, IU was asked about her boyfriend, Lee Jong Suk’s, thoughts on her hit drama. With a playful tone, IU responded,  He's really busy. So, I don't think he's had a chance to see it yet. At least, that's what I assume since I know he's been very busy. She also jokingly added, When Life Gives You Tangerines promotions end today, so right now, my world revolves around Gwan-sik. I only know Yang Gwan-sik. Gold Medalist Answers Back Claims During Kim Sae Ron's Family's Press Conference

 After the press conference by Kim Sae Ron's family, Kim Soo Hyun's agency has responded. During the press conference, HoverLab said that they obtained an audio recording with the late Kim Sae Ron. But, this audio file is entirely fabricated. GOLDMEDALIST has determined that it was created using AI or similar technology. The individual who provided this audio file to HoverLab is a fraudster who also approached GOLDMEDALIST, saying that they possess a recording where Kim Sae Ron made statements in favor of Kim Soo Hyun. They demanded money from GOLDMEDALIST and sent a part of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the late actress' voice. GOLDMEDALIST did not comply with any of the provider’s demands. According to GOLDMEDALIST, the audio file provider could not have possibly had any contact with the late Kim Sae Ron.
