Kim Seon Ho's Film Debut Role Features a Half-Filipino Protagonist!

 Actor Kim Seon Ho will make his film debut in the movie Sad Tropical.





According to the film industry on September 6 as reported by Naver, the actor is set to appear in the movie under the direction of Park Hun Joong. Details are still under coordination. 

Kim Seon Ho's agency SALT Entertainment clarified that he is positively reviewing the offer. 

Sad Tropical is a movie about a boy who dreams of becoming a boxer. He has a Korean father and a Filipino mother who comes to Korea in search of the father who abandoned him. While doing so, he meets bad guys and experiences different situations along the way. The director is preparing this movie after his current one, The Witch 2.

The movie has 2 lead characters and Kim is one of them. In the movie, he will take on a different character from what we are used to.

After his current drama Hometown Cha Cha Cha set to finish in November, he will film the movie immediately without taking a break. That is, if he accepts the offer.


The film production is currently auditioning the role for the boxer, the other protagonist in the movie. After finishing the casting, filming will start by end of November.

If auditions are underway for the boxer role, so Kim Seon Ho may be the other lead, then. Regardless of that, everyone will surely look forward to this movie.

Kim Seon Ho is so busy and we are not complaining!
