Lee Da Hee Replaces Seo Ye Ji in Role for OCN Drama Island

 Lee Da Hee has been confirmed to join the cast of the highly anticipated drama, Island. The role was originally offered to Seo Ye Ji but she declined.


Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo and Sung Joon stars in the upcoming fantasy action drama.

 


Island is based on a webtoon of the same name and is scheduled to air first half of next year.

Lee Da Hee will be playing the role of an arrogant and selfish chaebol daughter. She makes big trouble one day and was vanished to Jeju Island to work as a high school teacher. In the process, she gets involved in a case related to ghosts and evil spirits. She joins forces with other individuals in the island in order to live.

Kim Nam Gil will play the role of Van who is destined to protect the world. He fights evil with the other people in the island.

Cha Eun Woo plays John, a hip Catholic exorcist, who protects life and purifies evil.

Sung Joon on the other hand, plays Gungtan. He was raised as a slayer to defeat evil.

Island will start filming in October.
