The Staying Power of Hometown Cha Cha Cha

 It's incredible how Kim Seon Ho's and Shin Min Ah's healing drama, Hometown Cha Cha Cha has stayed so long in the Netflix Top 10 non-English TV series for 14 weeks now.



On December 8, Netflix released the weekly Netflix Top 10 based on viewing time, for the week of Novemeber 29 to December 5. This ranking is based on viewing time in 90 countries where the platform is being used. 

Four Korean dramas are included; Hellbound at number 3, Squid Game at number 4, The King's Affection at number 7 and Hometown Cha Cha Cha  at number 10. 

HomCha may be at number 10, but it has been there for 14 weeks; that's three and a half months. Considering that the drama ended on October 17, it means it still in the Top 10 more than a month after it ended. For the week, it has been viewed 11,560,000 hours.

The series remains in the top 10 in Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines among others. It is still included in the top 10 in 25 countries.
