Netizens Are Saying Son Ye Jin and Park Min Young Saved JTBC

 2021 was not a good year for JTBC as most of its production achieved low ratings. But 2022 was much better as it started with 2 new dramas led by Son Ye Jin and Park Min Young.

February 2022 when Thirty Nine and Forecasting Love and Weather were released. And with good ratings, these two actresses are being called the ratings savior of the network.

The two dramas started off with good ratings. And are still doing good after 5 episodes. Episode 4 of Thirty Nine garnered 7.54% while Forecasting Love and Weather episode 5 is at 6.1%.

These high ratings mark the return of JTBC into the ratings game. Previous dramas have shown a not so impressive run. 

Snowdrop which just finished had an average rating of 2.738%. This was greatly affected by controversies surrounding the drama despite the anticipation of the Jung Hae In and Jisoo tandem.

Another highly expected drama that did not reach expectations was Nevertheless with only 1.7% finale rating, even reaching a 0.994% rating in its 10-episode run. 

Other JTBC dramas that did not reach the ratings expectations are The One and Only (0.664% for its finale episode), Reflection of You (2.637% average rating for its entire run), and Undercover (3.8% average rating for its entire run). 

Hoping that this good streak will continue on with the network. Thirty Nine airs every Wednesday and Thursday and Forecasting Love and Weather airs every Saturday and Sunday.
