Nam Joo Hyuk Has Taken Legal Action Against School Bullying Allegations

 Nam Joo Hyuk's agency took legal action against the accusation of school bullying.



Earlier this week, reports of school bullying against Nam Joo Hyuk has spread online. His agency Management SOOP has released a statement denying the allegations.



On June 24, the management has released a new statement regarding the issue. 
Hello. This is Management SOOP.

Today, actor Nam Joo Hyuk filed criminal complaints for violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection and other related violations (defamation) against ‘The Days’ reporter Min, who wrote the false article, the CEO of that publication, as well as the anonymous source who tipped this false claim.

We sincerely hope that the truth is revealed through a quick investigation and that actor Nam Joo Hyuk’s tarnished honor is restored.

 The production team of ''When the Phone Rings' has apologized for a sign language scene from the first episode. In the first episode, aired on November 22, sign language interpreter Hong Hee Joo (played by Chae Soo Bin) is interpreting for a news program. Because of a transmission error during the live broadcast, the program suddenly freezes on Hong Hee Joo signing the word for “mountain,” but was mistakenly interpreted as an obscene hand gesture.
