Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist

tvN, August 1

Se-poong is a talented doctor who works directly for the royal family – until an unexpected event gets him expelled from the palace. He relocates to Gyesu village, where he meets the eccentric teacher Gye Ji-han (Kim Sang-kyung) and the widow Seo Eun-woo (Kim Hyang-gi .

Se-poong resumes his work as a doctor, but also begins to treat patients’ mental ailments.

Hunted

MBC, August 1

Park Ho-san plays Young-soo, a middle-aged resident of a village who hunts boars that damage local crops with his friends.

Young-soo cross paths with Ok-soon (Ye Soo Jung) in the mountains, an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease who believes that the fire which killed her son was caused by someone in the village. And then, Young-soo’s son also goes missing.

Park Ji-yeon plays the lead investigator of a narcotics team looking into Dong-ha and Gwang-cheol.

Five amateur investors take part in an unusual meeting, where they learn about life and invests in the stock market. The drama shows how normal people experiments with stocks and what prompted them to become investors in the first place.

Eun Sun-Woo (Jung Il-Woo) is extremely smart and surprisingly athletic. He owns and runs Eungang Group, which is the biggest company in Korea. He also secretly runs a private detective office as a private detective. He is gentle, but sometimes arrogant.

Don-Se-Ra (Kwon Yuri) was born with hyperacuity. To hide her condition, she always wears glasses. She uses her ability to secretly help people. Even though she is poor, she is bright and doesn't hesitate to help others. Eun Sun-Woo and Don-Se-Ra get involved with each other.
