Poster of the The Glory Unveils Clues on what to expect from the Second Part of the Series

Have you seen the new poster for the second part of The Glory? A lot of foreshadowing are hidden on clues from these images.

The latin phrase "Lasciate ogni speranza, voich'intrate"

This is a phase from Dante's Inferno, which was written on the gates of hell, and it means, "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

In the novel, Dante states how his enemies and individuals he doesn't like are in hell. This may mean the hell that Moon Dong Eun's perpetrators will experience as part of her revenge plot.

The morning glory flowers

There are white morning glory flowers (devil's trumpet) seen growing where Moon Dong Eun, Joo Yeo Jeong and Kang Hyeong Nam are standing.
Whereas, the only character with morning glory flowers blooming towards the earth (devil's trumpet) is Ha Do Young. He is standing holding his wife's hand, amidst the other perpetrators. This may mean he is having inner conflicts towards Park Yeon Jin with regards to his feelings for Dong Eun.

Also, weeds are growing on Kang Hyung Nam's arms. These were previously seen on posters of the characters who bullied Dong Eun in the past or those who died. Which may mean Hyung Nam may also die.

This theory is strengthened from the trailer where it shows Hyung Nam injured and in prison. So she might have been in trouble fighting the perpetrators.

Moon Dong Eun wearing white

Writer Kim Eun Sook has been saying that Moon Dong Eun represents anger and hatred because of what she experienced in the past, which means darkness without any glimmer of light, represented by the color black. And she is wearing white in the poster, which may mean she will be done with revenge, and the opposite of black means that a glimmer of hope may be seen.

Character posters

When the first set of character posters were released, there were also theories on how part 2 will ensue from these alone.


The 5 perpetrators are against a black background where Dong Eun is looking down on all of them, strangling them or holding their hands, foreshadowing revenge.
While her allies, Yeo Jung and Hyung Nam, are in a lighter background with Dong Eun looking at them with affection. Ha Do Young is in a similar light background but not staring directly on her, which may mean he is someone not directly involved with the revenge but is seeing the story from a third person point of view.

The Glory part 2 will air this March 10.
