KPop Mourns for Moonbin's Passing

 With the sudden passing of ASTRO Moonbin, the KPop world has extended its condolences.


The singer was found without life inside his house last night, April 19.  And the entertainment industry decided to honor the artist in its own way. 

LE SSERAFIM

The group has canceled the photocall for JTBC's Knowing Bros. The recording was supposed to proceed as scheduled but was decided to be canceled on the way to the event. 

IU

IU has also requested a postponement of her interview for the movie Dream. 
We express our deepest sympathy over the sad news of Astro's Moonbin, and sincerely wish the deceased a rest in peace.

To express her condolences, the interview which will be held today is requested to be sent on the 24th instead.


BTS RM

BTS RM has expressed his condolences to his fellow-artist through his Instagram. He posted an all-black background on his IG story.

GOT7 Youngjae

MBC announced that today's airing of Youngjae's radio program, Close Friend, is canceled.

IKON

YG Entertainment has likewise rescheduled the teasers for IKON's comeback to April 21.

New Jeans

ADOR has confirmed that the release of the New Jeans Magazine, which was supposed to be out today, has been postponed to April 21.

ITZY

Although not in the promotion period, release of YouTube contents planned today was postponed.

Dive Studios

Dive Studios expressed their condolences through a Twitter post, saying, 
"In light of Moonbin's passing, we are postponing the release of all DIVE Studios and Mindset content for this week. We send our deepest condolences and appreciate everyone's understanding."

BTOB

BTOB announced that the content upload, SNS posting, and scheduled BTOB 12th mini-album promotion will be temporarily suspended. They further state,  
I would like to ask for the understanding of the fans, I express my condolences for the sad news.

Other celebrities have expressed their sympathies as well.

Broadcaster Kwon Hyuk Soo has appeared with Moonbin in Trendy Program and SNL Korea 2 says,
I love you so much. I'm sorry and thank you. I miss you.

Broadcaster Jang Sung Kyu cried while delivering the news of Moonbin's passing over the live broadcast of MBC Radio's 'Good Morning FM This is Jang Sung Kyu'

I can't believe it. I can't believe it because it was Moonbin who had a bright personality.
