We will abolish the industry's absurd practices behind the development of K-content that is applauded by the world. It will be a stepping stone to supporting the standards. Through this revision of the law, we will try to protect the rights of pop culture artists who do not receive a fair price for their cultural and artistic creative activities.
And we have Lee Seunggi to thank for this amendment. In November last year, it was revealed that the actor-singer did not receive any payment for his music from Hook Entertainment. In December, he decided to terminate his contract with his agency.
