IU and Lee Jong Suk celebrated Children's Day and showed their good influence and intention.

On May 3, Lee Jong Suk donated 100M KRW (PhP 4.2M) to the Asan Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital. This is to provide help for the medical expenses of children from low-income families.

Actually, Lee Jong Suk has been donating constantly to good causes. Last year he donated 100M KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to help those affected by forest fires. Not only that, he also donated the same amount to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation. This was to help prepare young people to enter society independently.

IU on the other hand, prepared pizza, rice cakes, and drinks for the students and faculty of Miral School, which supports students with disabilities. Her mother personally prepared the rice cakes, making it more meaningful.

Like her boyfriend, IU has also been helping the less fortunate. IU has also donated medical clothing to the Korea Medical Association like Lee Jong Suk. She has provided 3000 sets of medical protective clothing and encouraging messages to the staff.

The two have been supporting such causes even before they became a couple, and they continue to do so until now.

Meanwhile, other celebrities have also extended help in celebration of Children's Day, like Park Bo Young, Lee Seunggi, Kim Go Eun and Chanyeol.
