Fans of Dr. Romantic have been expecting the return of Yoo Yeon Seok's character in the drama, and they were not disappointed.

Yoo Yeon Seok appeared in the latest episode of the hit SBS drama, reprising his role as Dr. Kang Dong Ju and has reunited with his Doldam family.

Will he stay until the very end?

According to OSEN, the actor is expected to appear until the drama's last episode and will play a big part in the storyline.

In episode 12, it was revealed that he will replace the   Doldam Trauma Center Director position, previously occupied by Cha Jin Man. Previously, Kim Sabu himself said that the replacement will be someone "stronger than me", raising high expectations on what is next to come.

There are only 4 episodes left, viewers are wondering whether Kang Dong Ju, who returned after 6 years, will stay with Kim Sabu and the rest of the team or just have a special cameo. 

Good news, Dr. Kang is here to stay until the last episode. Yoo Yeon Seok's appearance is expected to give a boost to the drama. 

Season 1 has the highest % viewership rating of  27.6%; Season 2's highest rating was 27.1%. Meanwhile, season 3 has already achieved 14.4% for its 12th episode, the highest so far for this season.
