Actress Jisoo Is Back with Upcoming Drama, Influenza
BLACKPINK Jisoo is back with a new drama!
According to reports, she will star with Park Jung Min in a new series from the director of Parasite titled "Influenza".
Influenza' unfolds as a drama within the air-defense unit of a Seoul skyscraper, tracing the journey of Jae-yoon, a soldier, and Yeong-joo, his girlfriend. Recently informed about their separation, they find themselves amidst a zombie onslaught, striving to reunite as they navigate the chaos.
Park Jung-min plays the role of Jae-yoon, who enlisted at the late age of twenty-six while seeking alternative service by getting a job at a defense contractor. Worried about the future, he becomes obsessed with his girlfriend and eventually says goodbye and faces a world turned upside down by a horde of zombies. Weak and unconfident, he struggles with zombie infestation and gradually begins to play an active role as the leader of his squad.
Taking on the role of Youngjoo is JISOO, portraying a newbie when it comes to the complexities of society. She grapples with challenges as Jaeyoon fails to comprehend her emotions and requests to break up. While on a quest to meet her boyfriend, she witnesses a zombie outbreak that sparks a transformation within her. Through the struggle for survival, she undergoes a gradual evolution from vulnerability to strength.
