Go Youn Jung Confirmed Female Lead for Hospital Playlist Spin-Off Drama

The spin-off of Hospital Playlist is coming and Go Youn Jung was just confirmed as lead.

Director Shin Won Ho, creator of the Reply and Hospital Playlist series, along with writer Lee Woo Woo, will collaborate on the spin-off of the hit medical drama. Someday Wise Resident Life tells the hospital life and friendship of professors and doctors at a hospital. Expected to air on the first half of 2024.


Go Youn Jung will play a first-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at Jongno Yulje Hospital. In the spin-off, the setting will move from Yulje Main Hospital to Jongno Yulje, to depict the lives of obstetrics and gynecology doctors as we witness their struggles as new residents going through rigorous trainings as they develop friendships and eventually become full-pledged doctors.
