According to Twitter user @fangirlarkive ,  When Sol pressed Sunjae’s watch when he died, it acted as a new time machine. When it did, both Sol & Sunjae traveled to the past.  Sol & Sunjae avoids each other in that timeline and pretended to not knowing each other. Both Sol & Sunjae won’t be in touch during this time slip, but after this time slip ends, Sol went back to her 34 year-old self in 2023 but Sunjae can only return to his 35 year old self (this is a reference from their house number Sol’s 34-1 and Sunjae’s 35-1).
