Byeon Woo Seok Reportedly Under Investigation
UPDATE:
Chosun Ilbo reported that after July 14, no additional complaints were filed relating to this incident.
Also, an official from the National Human Rights Commission said that the complainant in the airport incident reported the humam rights violation complaint against an Incheon airport personnel and not the actor.
The complaint lodged on July 14 did not specify whether its Byeon's security team or the airport security which caused the incident. And it was clarified on the 15th that the complaint was targeted at airport security.
This now falls under the jurisdiction of the Human Rights Commission. Therefore, it is the Incheon Airport team who will be investigated and not the actor.

It was reported that Byeon Woo Seok is undergoing investigation.
On July 25, Wikitree reported that the National Human Rights Commission of Korea announced it had received a complaint and would initiate an investigation into an incident involving actor Byeon Woo Seok's alleged abuse of power at the airport.
In a notice sent to the complainant, the agency stated that it might take 3 months for the investigation into the excessively strict protective measures, which seemed to have violated citizens' rights in public places by the actor.
Recently, complaints were filed to the National Human Rights Commission of Korea regarding Byeon Woo Seok’s scandal at Incheon Airport. The complaint states that "Byeon Woo Seok is embroiled in controversy due to excessive security measures, including controlling the gate for 10 minutes, checking tickets, and shining flashlights on ordinary passengers who only happened to look at the actor. I filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission through the national petition platform. These actions are human rights violations."
