Song Hye Kyo's Yoo Quiz on the Block Guesting Gave It Record Ratings

 It's called the "Song Hye Kyo Effect", and it gave Yoo Quiz on the Block its highest-ever target audience ratings record.

The show's New Year episode was aired on January 8 and featured actress Song Hye-kyo and members of the Antarctic King Sejong Station overwintering research team.

The appearance of The Glory actress marks her first talk show appearance in 23 years and it was a major draw. With this, "You Quiz" recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 5.6%  according to Nielsen Korea, which made it to the top spot in its time slot.

Song Hye Kyo looked back on her 28-year career, her feelings and struggles as an actress, a woman, and a human being. She also discussed how false rumors have affected her.



Song Hye-kyo revealed how the Netflix series "The Glory" was a turning point in her acting career. She expressed how much she loved the project, saying, 
"I even found myself wanting to go to the next shoot as soon as possible."

 Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo is set to return to thebig screen with the film "Black Nuns", which will premiere on January 24.

  allkpop Park Ji Hoon has impressed viewers with his performance on Weak Hero Class 1. All 8 episodes of the web drama Weak Hero Class 1 were released on November 18. It tells the story of Yeon Si Eun fighting against bullying using his smarts and wits, despite being seen as physically weak. Park Ji Hoon plays the lead role, Si Eun.
