A spokesperson from Taecyeon’s agency, 51K, addressed the speculation, stating, 
“The photos were not taken as part of a marriage proposal. These images, captured last year in celebration of his girlfriend’s birthday, were unfortunately leaked and circulated online.
The representative further emphasized, 
“Taecyeon continues to have a strong relationship with his girlfriend, as he always has. While we believe he may consider marriage when the time is right, there are no immediate plans at this time.”

 In April of last year, a Parisian photographer shared a proposal photo on Instagram. However, a Chinese fan discovered the image, leading to the post being flooded with congratulatory comments.

It's been some time since the photos were released, but since the woman is a non-celebrity, the photographer likely obtained their permission before sharing them. There's also a possibility that they are just concept photos. However, since rings are rarely used in staged shoots, I believe it was a real proposal.

Now that the photo has gained attention, it's actually trending more overseas than in our own country. It’s a beautiful picture, but I just want to remind everyone that there hasn’t been an official statement yet.

 IU is currently enjoying the success of her hit drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines.  Read my review of When Life Gives You Tangerines In an interview on April 2, 2025, at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Grand Ballroom, IU was asked about her boyfriend, Lee Jong Suk’s, thoughts on her hit drama. With a playful tone, IU responded,  He's really busy. So, I don't think he's had a chance to see it yet. At least, that's what I assume since I know he's been very busy. She also jokingly added, When Life Gives You Tangerines promotions end today, so right now, my world revolves around Gwan-sik. I only know Yang Gwan-sik.  After the press conference by Kim Sae Ron's family, Kim Soo Hyun's agency has responded. During the press conference, HoverLab said that they obtained an audio recording with the late Kim Sae Ron. But, this audio file is entirely fabricated. GOLDMEDALIST has determined that it was created using AI or similar technology. The individual who provided this audio file to HoverLab is a fraudster who also approached GOLDMEDALIST, saying that they possess a recording where Kim Sae Ron made statements in favor of Kim Soo Hyun. They demanded money from GOLDMEDALIST and sent a part of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the late actress' voice. GOLDMEDALIST did not comply with any of the provider’s demands. According to GOLDMEDALIST, the audio file provider could not have possibly had any contact with the late Kim Sae Ron.
