Kim Saeron's Mother Speaks Up, Gold Medalist Seeks to Resolve Matter

Kim Sae Ron's mother has spoken up via the Garo Sero YouTube channel.

It was noted that the mother sent the channel a lengthy statement, but they used AI voice since she did not want her voice to be aired.

“Hello. This is the bereaved family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron. After much deliberation, I have decided to release this statement upon witnessing how my family’s intentions have been distorted and misrepresented. As I previously conveyed to Garosero Research Institute, my sole purpose is to restore the honor of my baby girl whose reputation was destroyed in an instant by numerous false reports. My aim is to lay the groundwork for legally condemning the criminal activities of malicious cyber wrecker YouTubers, which has occurred and continue to occur and persist if left unchecked.

Sae Ron never lied to the media. She never ‘indulged in gambling instead of self-reflecting,’ or ‘pretended to be working part-time for the public’s sympathy.’ She was not someone who only into partying with friends. Nor did she stir up dating rumors about herself with fabricated photos. However, Lee Jin Ho and cyber wrecker YouTubers manufactured false reports that dragged a promising actress, but more so just a young girl, and her family into absolute despair. Furthermore, GOLD MEDALIST, her former agency, falsely portrayed Sae Ron as a thoughtless liar when it claimed that they ‘do not know’ Sae Ron’s intentions for uploading her photo.

Now that Sae Ron is no longer with us, even more outrageous false reports have emerged—claims that she was the sole breadwinner of her family, that the rest of us squandered the hundreds of millions she earned, and many other baseless stories too appalling to acknowledge.”

They stated 7 demands according to the channel.

Firstly, we want Kim Soo Hyun to acknowledge that he was dating Kim Sae Ron from the time she was a minor, as well as a public apology from him

Second, from the agency Gold Medalist, we request an official apology for media manipulation over the past three years where they claimed that the two have never dated, and again when they stated three days ago that they have never dated too.

Third, please acknowledge Kim Sae Ron’s contributions as a founding member of the company and apologize for that.

Fourth, acknowledge and publicly apologize for sending a legal notice demanding repayment of ₩700 million KRW (about $482,000 USD) from Kim Sae Ron.

Fifth, the reason why Kim Soo Hyun was not mentioned in our official statement was to focus on and warn against Lee Jin Ho and malicious online viral reporters. Our family is not seeking anything from Kim Soo Hun or the agency, aside from an official apology.

Sixth, to prove the falsehoods that were spread by Lee Jin Ho, we were left with no choice but to mention that Sae Ron was in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun. It was an unavoidable situation that required revealing Kim Soo Hyun’s photos. We hope everyone can offer their understanding.

Seventh, a legal complaint against Lee Jin Ho will be filed next week. We hope for a sincere public apology from him. Additionally, there should be an apology for calling after the funeral and visiting the columbarium and claiming they could not find it.

Gold Medalist expressed their sympathy saying, 

"We know that no words of comfort will be enough to console the broken heart of Kim Sae Ron’s mother after the loss of her daughter. We express our deepest regret toward the pain that the deceased had to endure."

"We believe there are differences in opinion between Kim Sae Ron’s mother and the agency. There may also be details she could not have known."

Gold Medalist has called for an end to the public disputes, saying respect for the deceased actress’s memory and her family should be given, and invited Kim Sae Ron’s mother to discuss the matter privately.
