Kim Soo Hyun to Break His Silence on Ongoing Controversy Regarding Kim Sae Ron

 It was reported that Kim Soo Hyun will speak up about the controversy he's embroiled in.


On March 13, Sports Seoul confirmed with multiple sources that the actor will personally guve his position on the allegations surrounding the late Kim Sae-ron. It was stated that the specific content of his statement and the method of his announcement are still in discussion.

The actor's agency released the following statement.

"We would like to address the recent content regarding Kim Soo Hyun that was broadcasted on YouTube channel HoverLab Inc.

GOLDMEDALIST will clarify the facts and respond to the baseless rumors by presenting a clear and substantiated position next week.

We sincerely apologize for causing prolonged fatigue and ask for your understanding as we aim to prevent further ongoing reports.

 The production team of ''When the Phone Rings' has apologized for a sign language scene from the first episode. In the first episode, aired on November 22, sign language interpreter Hong Hee Joo (played by Chae Soo Bin) is interpreting for a news program. Because of a transmission error during the live broadcast, the program suddenly freezes on Hong Hee Joo signing the word for “mountain,” but was mistakenly interpreted as an obscene hand gesture.
