Squid Game Season 2 is Confirmed

 The creator and director of the drama Squid Game, has confirmed its second season.



In an interview by Associated Press, held in Los Angeles on November 8, he stated,
There's been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for the second season, so it feels like we don't have a choice. 
I will say there is indeed a season 2. It's in my head right now. It's currently in the planning stage. But I think it's too early to say when and how the sequel will come out. 
But I do promise this, Gihun will come back and do something for the world.

Season 1 had an open-ended last scene. And although the production team had hinted on a possibility of a sequel, this is the first time that the director has officially confirmed it.

Squid Game was a hit with more than 140 million households to have watched the series. The success of the drama gave and the cast worldwide recognition.
