Why I Think My Demon is a Big Success

My Demon is nearing its end. But we will always remember how the drama made its viewers locked to the screen, despite what the ratings say.

If we look at the ratings from Korea, we can quickly say it's not successful.

Ep 7 - 4.5%
Ep 8 - 4.7%
Ep 9 - 4.2%
Ep 10 - 3.8%
Ep 11 - 3.7%
Ep 12 - 2.9%
Ep 13 - 3.6%
Ep 14 - 3.4%

Rating is declining and criticisms have been pouring in.

But despite these numbers, I believe the drama is still a success.

The story is compelling. It's a different kind of love story between a demon and a chaebol heiress. A kind of connection between two people who are fated to be together.

The chemistry between the two leads is overwhelming. Their kiss scenes become viral topics and trends. They even won Best Couple at the SBS Drama Awards last December.

If that's not enough, the drama has been in the Netflix Global Top 10 for 7 weeks now, and it started its stay at the top since the first week of airing.

It's not just about the Korean ratings. It's a big success internationally. And even Koreans prefer to watch it on Netflix rather than on SBS.

So, no. It was not a failure. It's a big success. And you can't convince me otherwise.
